What will happen to the end of trial period?

Post by Gasparius »

After trial period, I can buy M7 update (I think not, before final version), or I need to install it again?

Thanks

Hi,

We're not selling Mixcraft 7 yet, but when the time comes, a solution will be provided for beta testers. It might be a new trial period, or it might be an extension code.

Actually for me, the trial period just permanently stays at 45 days. As I start it up each day, the expiration date just gets pushed back one day.

Yes, and some people have had the opposite problem, with the trial ending too soon. It's another beta version bug!

How do I help out with beta testing?
I have a couple of projects that I want to slowly perfect.
I currently use Acid pro 7 since it was 6.
Then, as I was about to move to Reaper, someone on the Reaper forums discovered Mixcraft 6.
They after a long discussion said they decided to buy your DAW.
So, I have the free trial now. And have been learning how to use it. It expires soon.
It is much easier to use, and has more free, high quality, immediately usable add-ons, than Acid Pro.
I come from a Multi-track tape background, but switched to digital about 12 years ago.
If you would like someone to test. I would be very interested.
I am semi-retired, live in the tropics, use 64 bit win7, and am willing to help.

just sign up here-
http://www.acoustica.com/beta/index.htm

download Mixcraft 7 here-
http://www.acoustica.com/beta/mixcraft.htm

I would make a copy of any "serious project" or just start a new test project to use for the Beta testing.

Although, you really don't want to work on important projects in Mixcraft 7 during beta testing, since beta software isn't finished software and it will have bugs.
