I don't really ever use the metronome, I usually have a simple drum track as my metronome, but I love the new count in feature.Often requested, you can set up Mixcraft to count in 1 to 16 measures in advance of recording. You can turn it on with the little 1-2-3 button next to the master volume control, and you can set the number of measures to count in in the Metronome preferences (File->Preferences->Metronome).
It's cool you can use the count in without using the metronome!!!!
