Hi,

Since it's not compatible with Windows 8, I doubt it, but we could get lucky. We haven't tested it yet as far as I know.

I was looking to buying the software because of all the features of the software & with it not being compatible with windows 10 which I installed i'm sure this will put a damper on sales of this software it's your call you folks created the software what say you ????

Hi,

It turns out that Acoustica MP3 CD Burner is not compatible with Windows 10.

Acoustica MP3 CD Burner is legacy software at this point and we're not planning on updating it at the present time.

Pity I have used it for years. One of the best. :-(

I'm totally gutted, I installed Windows 10 and never realised it wasn't compatible.
I've left it too long now to re-install Windows 8 as I would just to get this program working properly again.
I can't find another program like it online, certainly not with the features....is there no way a new version or programme will surface?

I'd happily buy this program again if it worked on Windows 10.

Hi,

It doesn't work with Windows 8, either. Microsoft changed something when Windows 8 came out.

Some people get MP3 CD Burner working on Windows 8 by using a Windows XP virtual machine. I don't think that's available with Windows 10.

I just downloaded and bought Acoustica, now I read that it won't work with Windows 10. Should have been fair if they would have mentioned it on the download-site. Shame on you, Acoustica!

Hi,

The Acoustica MP3 CD Burner page does say that it requires Windows XP or Windows 7 and that it's not compatible with Windows 8 or 10.

Contact customer support so they can help you out. Please submit an Acoustica Support Request.

It nearly works, it just doesn't display the songs to be burnt but you can right click and play them.....the Windows report reckons there's a compatible version which I just need to upgrade to.
I'm determined to get it working, perhaps futile but hey ho.
I don't get why the CD/DVD Label Maker is upgraded but not this one.

Hi,

Some people got MP3 CD Burner to work under Windows 8 by running the Windows XP Virtual Machine provided by Microsoft, but I don't think that option is available for Windows 10.

We haven't updated MP3 CD Burner because it's very old and you can burn CDs for free with programs like Windows Media Player and iTunes.

Windows 8 worked fine with it didn't it? Before I revert back.
Will this never be updated again then?

Hi,

No, Windows 8 is the version that first broke MP3 CD Burner. You'd have to go back to Windows 7 for it to work.
