Ripping from MP3 CD

Can songs from an MP3 CD be ripped? I've tried and get a message that this is a data file. Did I burn the original MP3 wrong?

Disregard my question. I discovered you don't rip a MP3 CD, just copy or drag and drop.

Hi,
Yup, that's the answer. MP3 CDs are just regular old data CDs, and you can copy the files like any other kind of file. Only audio CDs need to be ripped, because they are in the special CD audio format.
