No drives seen after Windows 7 upgrade

MP3 CD Burner has been working just fine for several years now. However, I just upgraded to Windows 7 and now it does not see any of my drives. :cry:

Since I upgraded with a dual boot, I can still go back to my XP Pro and there does not appear to be any problem seeing them there. :?

In Windows 7 I do get the following WnAspiNT error dialog a couple of times during launch which says:
(6) Error opening Registry for "Hardware\DeviceMap\SCSI\SCSI Port 0"
Error = 2
portNumber = 0
But I have no SCSI drives! Two of my drives are IDE and the third is a SATA.

I have tried switching the compatability mode to XP SP3 to see if that helped to no avail! :evil:

The log appears to show that all 3 CD drives are seen and loaded with no obvious errors being logged. Yet, there are no drives to activate for burning or ripping.

There is no crash log file produced.

If I uncheck the "Use IMAPI for burning!" option in the Preference settings for the CD/DVD Burner, all drives disappear. Otherwise I see all drives showing up there for preference configuration.

However, the "Show CD Drive" item in the CD menu has no drives listed, and there are no tabs for any of the drives. :evil:

I would like to eventually drop my XP Pro and reuse that drive for more meaningful data. But since I need to burn Audio and MP3 discs for a ministry I work with, it does not seem I will be able to unless I find a solution for this burner, or go off and find another one which does work with Windows 7. :cry:

My Spin-It-Again is working just fine in my Windows 7, in fact even better than it did under XP Pro. :lol:

I would rather not have to switch burners right now as MP3 CD Burner has been working reliably for several years now. But ripping CD's with Windows Media player is painful, and I do not have a viable burning option in Windows 7 now since this program stopped working. :evil:

Is there any hope of getting MP3 CD Burner to work properly again under Windows 7? :roll:

Oh, I neglected to add that "Yes" I have tried to re-install the app under Windows 7 already to no avail either!

Mp3 cd burner does work with windows 7, you might have some different hardware or something else that's causing the issue.
Submit a support request for further help on the issue.
