CD Labeler Crashing

Every time I run the cd label maker, the explorer is set to a location that doesn't exist anymore, so the program crashes, and I can't seem to figure out how to make the program just forget the location or reset the explorer window, it doesn't seem to update on the fly for some reason... any ideas?

THANKS!

Hi,

Did you try uninstalling and installing Acoustica CD/DVD Label Maker again?

Hi,

Yes, try running the label maker's uninstaller.

Ok that worked, but really this is something that should be fixed so one doesn't have to uninstall the whole program and reinstall it if you move a folder, right?

Hi,

Is that what happened? You had a folder on a particular drive, and you moved it? Or did this involve a drive letter that changed, like a removeable drive changing its drive letter?

I had my labels in D:\Labels, moved the folder to my desktop, and every time I ran the label maker, the explorer showed the label folder open in D, couldn't find it and crashed... and it happened over and over and over in a loop until I uninstalled and reinstalled the program.

Thanks

Hi,

I just tried leaving "Art Browse" open on a folder, then quitting the label maker, moving the folder and opening the label maker again, and it didn't crash. There must be some other factor involved.

Well, the only thing else I can think of is the original folder was on a different drive.

Hi,

I also tried it with a removeable USB drive and I couldn't get it to crash. Sometimes Windows itself has a "no disk" crash issue and that might be what's involved here. Windows is getting confused about the change in drive.

Ok thanks. It's Windows, I understand.
