Epson XP-6000

Post by Peru »

What templates do I use for full face printable and regular printable for Epson XP-6000?
I don't see that model listed in the templates.

Hi,

If you don't have the Epson Expression Premium XP-6000 template, quit the label maker, then download and install the Label Maker Paper/Printer Template Updater.

This updater can always be found at the top of the list of Acoustica CD/DVD Label Maker supported printers.

Well, I thought it was working. The template installed and i was able to create a label, but when I sent it to the printer, it did not print the text properly.

This is image in Acoustica:

This is the image as printed on the disc:

Is there a problem with the template?
If I use the Epson software to create a disc, it will print OK, but I prefer to use Acoustica.

Hi,

Click Print in the label maker, then click Properties. Look at the properties for your printer and make sure it's set to print at 100% or same size.

The print settings are OK.
It is only the text that doesn't print properly. Images or shapes (like the outline ellipse in the images I posted) print properly.

Hi,

Does the problem happen if you use the Arial font?

I had already thought of that. I had tried Arial and it printed the same.

Would it help if I sent you the full label project?
The uploaded images were from the project with the background and images removed for simplicity. I left only the outline ellipse shape (the border around the disc) and the text fields.

Hi,

The problem seemed to be due to the size and position of the main title text box, maybe because the top of the text box extended way above the top of the label.

Hi,

You’re welcome. Thanks for coming back and letting us know that shrinking the text box helped.
