Software only wants to print to paper NOT CD

I purchased a new Canon TS8120 printer to print cd's. But for some stupid reason, it only prints to 8.5 x 11 paper sheets, instead of wanting to print onto the printable CD. Is there is a setting in acoustic cd label software. Had no issues before when I printed with my old Canon ip7220 cd printer.
