Hi. I just purchased a Canon Pixma TS 8220 and am attempting to prints some DVD labels. However, I keep getting the error message, "The media type and paper size are not set correctly. I have set the media type to printable disc and the paper size to Multi Purpose Tray. I am still getting the error message. Please help.

Hi,

Do you have an option called "Disc Tray M" in the Printer Paper Size setting?

There is a disc tray J but that doesn't work either.

Hi,

You still get exactly the same error message with that setting?

What do you have selected in the Paper Source setting?

Do you have the correct printer driver selected in the label maker's Printer Name setting? I think the TS8220 would use tray type M.

I also have and is unable to print cd/dvd.
There is no type "M" in the printer setup.

CANON TS8200 series is not included in the templates.
If I try ts8000 series, the software gives me an error ( The type of support or the format of paper dont match...)
Tried just about everything I could think of with any combination.
It does work with Canon easy photo print EX.
But your software is much more flexible and user friendly, have been using it for years whithout problems up to now.
Please include ts8200 series to your template a.s.a.p.

Hi,

Be sure to use the Canon TS8000 Series template in the Paper Type setting, then click Properties.

This brings up the settings for your printer driver. I think there are four settings with names like Media Type, Paper Size, Paper Source, etc. Some of these menus may have sub-menus. You need to have it selected for disc printing in all these settings.

If this doesn't help, take a screenshot of your printer properties screen, submit an Acoustica Support Request, and attach the screenshot.
