Can't hit middle exactly with label.

Post by cljeppe »

Hello from Denmark,

I have CD/Label Maker 3.40, which I had to reinstall after W10 arrived in January.
That means that the middle of my labels do not hit in the wanted mid-position.
AND: I must admit that my attempts trying to adjust mm by mm have made the situation much worse.
Is there a way the adjustments can be reset, - or any other advice, please.

Kind regards,
Carsten.

Hi,

What are you printing on? A label? Directly on a disc?

What do you have selected in the Paper Type setting?

Hello, I am using sheets from "MediaRange" 50 sheets - 100 labels 15 - 118 mm. - Self-adhesive.

Neato US CD full coverage

HI,

Are those MediaRange labels supposed to be compatible with Neato US Full Coverage?

If you are not in the U.S., maybe you should be using the A4 template?

Hi,
Very international: I am Danish, - MediaRange is a German product, that I bought it in England. The sheet is in A4 size, only containing 2 labels a sheet with the small cd-hole. - There are no extras at their sides for name on cd-box
Zweckform C9960 (A4) is looking like my sheet.

And still, how do I reset to the center again from far out on the right of the sheet. A mistake measuring 30 mm !

HI,

Rather than trying the adjustments, it's better to just choose a compatible template.

There is a Reset button to go back to default.

Hi,

Also, you should try to find an A4 template that's compatible with your MediaRange labels.

Download the label update to get the latest templates.

Thank you for the templates. Now the exact MediaRange of mine is mentioned to choose.

But the reset button isn't there. The rest of the templates page is there - is there a newer program version to download (last question for tonight) :D

Hi,

Version 3.40 is the current release version. The reset button appears if you are on the Alignment dialog or the Edit Paper/Printer Templates screen (the screen where you make the adjustments).

Hi Greg,

When I use the reset button, the values go back to zero. I had hoped that the template would seek back to centre to start all over.

Afterwards I tried uninstall/install, but that did not give me a chance to start again from front - so I am still very far from centre.

Hi,

0.0 means that you're back to the basic template you have selected, with no adjustments.

You need to select the correct template in the Paper Type setting, that's the most important thing. You shouldn't have to make any adjustments.

Hi Greg,

the new templates that contain my type of template, plus your help for me to better understand the reset order did it.
Thank you very much for help and patience. Image
