Nice! :D

Your studio looks like mine - a ruddy guitar shop.

Wow Gypsy, impressive. I like your sound, it has a Bon Jovi quality to it. (lol, I almost wrote John Bovi...)

I particularily like Just Met Love and GT.

thanks. the "GT" thing was originally just a short little riff to demo my Les Paul goldtop w/ P90's for some people and it grew from there. you know how it goes if you don't "name" a MC project from the very beginning:lol:

gypsy - Good stuff man! I really like Just Met Love. I hear a couple of timing issues in some of the tracks (beginning of Down Home V2).

So you tracked all this yourself? Drums, bass, guitar and vocals? Awesome talent! Very nice guitar tones. I am kicking myself for selling my Epiphone!

Edit to add: Following you on Soundcloud. 8)
All the best,

Still, I concur. I started out as a dental technician and became an IT guy which is what I am 8AM to 5PM Monday to Friday, then, after everything else is done, cleaning the house, taking care of my wife and kid, the dog and the rest of the animals, IF I have the time AND the energy, I write little ditties which I then produce in my basement while the rest of the house is far from silent.

Consider that when I wrote a song for the first time, not only did it blow chunks because in 1983 all I had was a piano, a tape recorder and a microphone, but nobody ever heard it.

Today we have soundcloud, reverbnation and all the rest to work with, including Mixcraft.

Or Wordpress...

That's the last song I wrote, started yesterday, came out like that today...
Yes, I love this era that we live that allows so many people to explore differents sides of herself and show this to so many people, so easily.

Hi,

I was planning on removing this thread from the top of the forums after March was over. Of course, people's replies will bump it normally after that.

Hi!

The idea is to produce something within a month. If you're a late starter, so be it although the moderators may decide to take the "announcement" header down at the end of March.

I'm compiling a list of all submissions and will post these at the end of March, but you're welcome to post after that date.

EDIT: I see Greg has beat me to it!

My daughter is doing the vocals, and I am planning on getting that this Saturday. Hopefully I will get it wrapped before the end of the month.

I think next month, all the works submitted can have a theme in common. :)
