I have a project that I have recorded and it is almost finalized. I have opened the project 10 or 12 times while mixing and each time Mixcraft has created a backup. Now, I would like to change the project name. Let's sat the original name is "ABC" and now I want to name it "XYZ". I went to Windows Explorer and changed it there but that did not seem to work. I guess I'm looking for a way to change the project name as well as the name on all backups. Is there a way to do this?
Thanks in advance for the replies.

Re: Changing Project Name
Hi there,
Just click File->Save As and save it as a different file name. There is no mechanism to rename all the backup files, however. You'd have to do that manually.
Thanks,
Dan

Hey Dan,
Thanks for the prompt reply. I thought about trying that but didn't know if it would rename all the backup files. I'll give this a try tonight.

Re: Changing Project Name
You're welcome! Just to be clear, future backup files would be created with the new project name.
