Clips not snapping to measure?

Post by Can of Nothing »

In Mixcraft 6.0.199 at the very least, using snap in the piano roll / clips doesn't work properly at times - The clip's length might remain as very slightly under a whole number, (eg: 0.0.999 / 3.3.997) and unless I manually change its length in the piano roll, usually changing its length on the main screen using the mouse doesn't work - it's still the weird timing. This - I presume - is one of a few problems I experienced when merging clips - the notes' lengths tend to get a bit screwed up, resulting in me having to manually fix their lengths one by one, which brings me to another problem.
The notes suffer a similar problem as to the clips, but thankfully, another drag usually fixes the problem. It's still annoying, however - Is this bug fixed in newer versions?

Hi!

Can't say I have problems with snapping - make sure it's turned on in the piano roll (last item in the top bar.)

You can also lasso a bunch of notes by highlighting them, and they will all move together. Similarly, CTRL + A will select all notes which will all move at once.

You are however 5 updates behind. Just open Mixcraft and go to Help>check for updates. Once its ready to patch, close Mixcraft again.

Hope this helps!
