electronic drums and acoustica

Post by supafly »

I am trying to hook up a set of sonic SD502J electronic drums to Mixcraft. I have also used the demo of addictive drums and got some great sounds, although obviously limited in the type of sounds produced.

The issue with Acoustica seems to be that it only picks up hits when I play them at high velocity, so say hitting the tom FULL velocity (probably 127).

Any ideas?

I tried a quick search for your manual to no avail. My guess is that you may need to set up the sensitivity in your brain (drum module). There are a lot of different types of drum pads as well. Some have better sensitivity than others. But I would investigate the drum sets module, or brain to see if there is any sensitivity settings. Hope that helps to get you rocking.

Yeah thanks, like I say it works perfectly with Addictive Drums, so the sensitivity settings seem to be set up fine?
