I like to keep all my stuff under "\Program Files\Acoustica Mixcraft"
Unfortunately although I can change the shared directory in the dialogue box to "\Program Files\Acoustica Mixcraft\Shared Effects", it still installs to "\Program Files\Acoustica Mixcraft Shared Effects". What effects will it have if I manually move it to where I want it to be?

Installing mixcraft 3 into different directories

Moving files manually will result in mixcraft not being able to find the files.
It will do a search of your hard drive and will use the first file it finds with the same name.
This can result in mixcraft using a file from another project.
Mixcraft 3 has a great project copy function that will copy the project properly to a new folder location.
It leaves behind the old project and unused files in the original project folder.
