Can we get an interface option to remove the darker, smaller bar at the top of each waveform / midi and instead use the entire track height for the waveform?

+1

Just have the clip name displayed directly on top of the clip rather than in its' own area - like many other DAW's.

Would have to develop a way to include the individual clip muting, looping, and playback functions on a track.

The other thing about that little bar is that it acts as a handle to grab a clip without setting a pivot point or starting a selection.

So, there'd be some things to work out, but thanks for the suggestion!

The way I've seen it handled is the pointer can be changed in the track area to edit, select, etc. just like it is now in the sound tab in Mixcraft.

How about.. modify the darker bar/handle/colour to be a transparent overlay along the top half of the track?

Woo-hoo!

So excited to see hints of more extensive audio editing options. Also "performance" mode? Global FX mute? Nice!

P.S. See if they can get you a reg code. I think if you find a couple of bugs they give you one for free. :D
P.P.S. I really hope my beta tester application gets approved. Can't wait to get my hands on this.

I hope those Flying V icons are just temporary or you might alienate the un-metal crowd.

Didn't notice before but it looks like the B3 has had some work with the addition of a "soulful" preset.
The slide guitar sounds interesting too . . . doy'ing...doy'ing...doy'ing. :D
