Mixcraft and Voxengo Span use

Is it possible to perform the routing necessary to use the channel features in Voxengo span with Mixcraft pro studio 7 or 6?

What are you trying to do, exactly?

Mixcraft doesn't have surround sound support, if that's what you're asking. It's stereo all the way!

That's currently not possible in Mixcraft, but it when we have native sidechaining someday, you will be able to do that.

If it does, it would require upgrading to Span Plus.
Interesting possibility, but haven't felt a strong need to explore that personally. The regular version has come in handy however.

I think it will help when mixing kick drums and bass, to see both frequencies simultaneously.
With other DAWs it's possible (and voxengo span free), and maybe with some trick we can use it in mixcraft.

You could put Span on the mix bus and solo the kick and bass tracks going into it, or alternate between the two in solo and view the spectrum.

Based on my own past experience, I would very likely find that after buying Span Plus, and spending too much time learning how to configure routing options, I would probably never go to the trouble again....... Simple is good.
