Re: Question
Hi,
Try choosing "Use Exclusive Mode" with WaveRT. Note: this will make it so that other sounds on your computer won't play while Mixcraft is running. On the upside, this will give you lower latency.

Re: Question
Hi, despite trying that, it doesn't make a difference, I still can't change the settings, is this a bug, if it is, I'll just wait for mixcraft 7.1

Re: Question
I am not sure, I don't use WaveRT mode- But I think what you are seeing is settings offered by Windows and it has nothing to do with Mixcraft?
Re: Question

Re: Question
Hi,
Mixcraft is getting the available settings from your sound device. What is your sound device? Do you have an external audio interface, or are you using the soundcard that's integrated into your computer? Something else?
What do you have selected as your playback device in Mixcraft's Sound Device settings?

Hi, I'm using my computer as my sound device.
I'm also using core audio as my playback device.

Re: Question
Does your computer have integrated audio on the mobo or a separate sound card?

Right-click on the small volume icon in your Windows taskbar and select Playback Devices, then right-click on the playback device that you're using for Mixcraft and select Properties. On the Advanced tab, try switching your Default Format setting.

Re: Question
The simplest answer may be that the WaveRT sound engine (included in Windows) may not offer any other bit depth settings for real-time sound. If WaveRT does not give mixcraft multiple options for bit depth, then mixcraft cannot possibly change it to anything other than 32-bit simply because WaveRT won't allow it.
