Mixcraft Home Studio 7

What's the difference between Home Studio 7 and the standard Mixcraft 7? Also, currently I am still using Mixcraft 5, would it be worth it to upgrade to Home Studio 7?

Only you can answer if the upgrade is worth it for you. The price to upgrade from 5 to 7 is the same as from 6 to 7 so IMHO represents excellent value for money.

I am not sure I would consider the home studio version an upgrade from any previous full version.......
But like was already said, its up to you to determine your needs.
Upgrading from 5 to the regular version of 7 however is a big leap and quite worthwhile IMO.

Yup, you should really consider upgrading to standard Mixcraft 7, since it's only $29.95. We don't offer an upgrade to Mixcraft Home Studio 7, so you'd be paying full price for that.

Hi Everyone... New to the forums but not to MixCraft. I recently upgraded from MC5 to MC7 Pro Studio and can say it is definitely worth upgrading. I am a long time Sonar and sometimes Reaper user but I am really liking MC7 Pro. Nice forum too.

Nice tunes by the way. I listened to the first 3 from your soundcloud page. Excellent performances and production. Were these songs all recorded with MixCraft?

All the tunes presented on my Soundcloud page were produced with Mixcraft.
However, the sources range from tracks recorded in other studios, stems supplied by other bands, stems from producing/mixing tutorials. third party loops and samples, etc.
While there has been bits of performance and recording, much of the content I have rotated through the page has been produced as I attempt to learn/adapt to modern DAW production. And while I do play multiple instruments, I am getting too old and arthritic to play often or well enough...... Honestly, my performance would pale by comparison. That is in part why I have attempted to focus more on production. Though I am still interested in rudimentary one man/jug band and old timey simple tunes, so you never know what might pop up.......

This is a mostly "just for fun/curiosity/intellectual exercise" anyway.
