Price is good, velocity sensitive keys and reasonable faders and dials! Good brand name! :D

Check the novation site for any possible customer issues with it. I'm seeing this for $150.00 plus out there so your price is great. Ensure it's the latest version.

I'll have to read up more on the issues or problems. It looks like the next model up is the Impulse and that is much more. I don't know if the Launchkey 49 is out dated though. There was an issue with Windows 8.1 a year ago, but I think they resolved it.

I'd love to know if anyone is using this with Mixcraft 7 and 8.1.

It looks like Novation is releasing the newer version Launchkey 49 MK2 in July. That could be why you can get the older model for $99 in some stores. The features don't seem to be that different. Better DAW control though.
