Hey
i've been using mixcraft 7 for months now. during today's recording session I suddenly ran into these problems with audio recording:
- part of the audio i recorded disappeared at the moment i stopped recording, sometimes everything disappears
- when i playback what's left of the recorded audio, there is no sound, and no movement on the indicators. the audio waves are still visible however. This is only the case for the new audio.
- when i retry several times, to re-record i get 2 situations:
1. stometimes mixcraft tells me there is a problem with the path i use and asks if i have full acces. (which i do, i"ve been recording on it for months)
2. somteimes mixcraft tells me there is insufficient quota. strangely: quota are not activated on my laptop and i have over 50 GB harddisk space left.
can anyone help?!
thanks a lot!

Not sure if this helps, but try to run Mixcraft as an admin and see if it helps. If it helps, you should then be able to run MC normally again.

Of course we all know very well it wouldn't work but what the hell

have you tried reinstalling?
Re: suddenly can't record new tracks anymore
Hey guys,
thanks for your suggestions...
the problem is now solved!
I discovered that this didn't have to do with mixcraft, but with the synhronisation centre.
Apparently, i had a "synchronisation limit" in the synchronisation centre (that mainly works for backups to the central office). Setting this limit to a higher level solved the problem
best regards and happy recordings!

What is a "synhronisation centre"? Is this some software you run to backup your drive?

Sounds like a place where people are sent to become a useful member of society in a sci-fi novel........
