Just thought Id throw this out to anyone looking
to purchase or upgrade their interface. Musicians Friend
has a package deal on the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2
right now for $329. I bought this and love it for
what my needs are.

I'm not sure if you're referring to this particular package but you can click on the "URL" tab when editing and paste it in. -h

Re: USB Audio Interface Deal
not too bad but the Alesis Elevate 3 are only 3" monitors & those AKG phones a really "budget" to be stating it nicely.
the Focusrite 2i2 is only $99 right now most places & the MXL 990 is only $50.
I would upgrade to AKG k-240's or Sennheiser HD280's ($79-$99) and @ least some KRK Rokit 5's ($300 pr) or Yamaha HS 5's ($400 pr)

Re: USB Audio Interface Deal
Gonna have to agree.
Other than the Focusrite, the rest isn't really much to get excited about.
I just saw the 2i2 on sale somewhere at $89, and the rest, well, I'd suggest waiting and saving up for a little bit of an upgrade. Might as well use desktop computer speakers and a $15 set of cans as far as that stuff goes.
I can't rate the mic, it might be a good entry level, but again, you'll probably quickly be itching to get something better, why not save up for it in the first place instead?
Dont be baited by these packages. Just my 2c.
