Hi Mark

As AJ said Antares are offering a lot of their legacy stuff for free on their own website (cant get more legal than that). However it looks like there is still a requirement to utilise either an iLock or use PACE software to authorise it.

This is the link to their webpage with the links to their older plugins available for free download.

Hey Y'all,

For those that may be interested, I just found Melodyne Essential for $59.99 at Sam Ash. It normally goes for $99.00. This is the "entry level" of Melodyne. Even if it is not the latest version (version 4), the Celemony website says you can upgrade to version 4 free.

Here's the link.

Nope that info is incorrect - the upgrade from Essential to Melodyne 4 is 599 Euro - from the Melodyne site

Hey Trevor,

Good to hear from you again. I see what you're saying and agree. However, I take this to mean if I'm upgrading from Melodyne Essential to Melodyne Assistant or one of the other packages that the upgrade price would apply.

Maybe I'm wrong, but, my understanding of the picture that I posted from Celemony's website is, for example, if I bought Melodyne Essential version 3 or earlier and registered it after November 1, 2015, that I can upgrade to the current version of Melodyne Essential (version 4) for free. In other words, I'm not changing packages; just getting the most current version of my current package.

Hi Barry!

I have Melodyne Editor and they want £149 to upgrade to 4 - tempting, but the wee Scot in me won't allow it

Well, I stand corrected. Thanks for pointing that out Trevor.

I don't have Melodyne yet but I'm giving it serious consideration. I think I would prefer Melodyne Assistant but it is $199.00.

Melodyne Essential from Sam Ash for $59.99 is real tempting to get my foot in the door.
