As far as I know there isnt a single zip file. However you can ask Mixcraft to download all the loops (you dont have to select them one by one).

Go to the library
In the drop down box select "All" where it says library
Then right click on any one of the files to the right and select "Download all in view"

It may take a while if you are using a public access computer as the library file is IRO 1.27 GB but you done have to individually select the different files.

Oh BTW welcome to the forum :D

Cheers

Hi,

You can upgrade to the Pro Studio version using the links in your original registration email.

http://acoustica.com/cgi/upgrade.php?p=16

If you decide to do that, act very quickly. If you catch it in time you can save a few dollars.
Stay in tune, Mark

Hi again

If you want to practice "remixing" audio tracks have a look at this website http://www.cambridge-mt.com/ms-mtk.htm On this site you can download a load of different songs separated out in to their individual tracks - they have a variety of styles and difficulty levels.

If you want a load of samples (like in the Mixcraft Library) you could look at the many loop libraries out there - they range in quality, some are free and some have free sample packs to download (for example http://www.loopmasters.com/ )

There are also samples that end users have created - for example http://www.looperman.com/

If you want more Mixcraft specific songs to play with you could always download the old trial versions of previous versions of Mixcraft - they all came with different domo songs (I think). Considering your limited internet connection this my be a bit difficult for you. But if you want these "Legacy" products you can get them here http://www.acoustica.com/mixcraft/suppo ... rsions.htm

Best of luck and let us all know how you get on - perhaps even share some of yur creations over in the Mixcraft User Showcase http://demon.acoustica.com/bbs/viewforu ... 18367ec70b

EDIT - Also I just thought, depending on how long you have had Mixcraft click on check for updates under help as Acoustica often release more loops.

In addition if you are a Mixcraft 7 user you can download a further 1100 Hip Hop Loops here. http://acoustica.com/mixcraft/mvp-loops.php

Cheers

I also wonder if its possible to use the loops in ableton after i download it. I have Mixcraft 7.

In the same menu where you see the "download all in view" option there is an option that says "Show Columns" click on that and from the sub menu make sure that "File Location" is ticked.

You will now be able to see if the loops are stored on your computer or remotely. If they show a location on your hard drive then they have already been downloaded.

I know this sounds basic - and sorry if you have thought of this but sometimes the simplest things can be missed - you must be connected to the internet to download the loops.

If they haven't downloaded then double check that you have selected "All" in the library drop down on the right hand side first.

Good luck and come back if you still have problems.

Cheers

Hello.

As somebody who just yesterday did this!!! LOL!!!

This is ALMOST correct:
Go to the library
In the drop down box select "All" where it says library
Then right click on any one of the files to the right and select "Download all in view"
To add:

Go to the library
In the drop down box select "All" where it says library
In the block below "Sort By:" scroll up to the top and click on "(All)"
Move over to the right and click on any single sample or loop (whatever) so that it's highlighted
Press Ctrl+A (select all)
Right click anywhere now on any single sample or loop (whatever) and now select "Download All In View"

The above does indeed download each and every single sample or loop (whatever). If something has already been downloaded it simply skips and carries on to the next. Works fantastically!!! Very impressive.
This software (as I've said before) never ceases to amaze me!!!

Regards,

Dale.

Just a small correction...

Ctrl+S is Save As

Ctrl+A is Select All

Oh man!!! And I checked that so meticulously before I posted!!! At least I thought I did!!! LOL!!!

Thanks. Have corrected in my original post to avoid confusion (some people only read a thread up to where they think they've found the solution and no further) (like me) (and then inevitably have to come back to read the rest if things don't work).

Dale.

Oh and by the way: just a comment.

After I downloaded all I was going through some of the samples etc. Well let me tell you (in my opinion anyway) that Mixcraft's samples etc. are every bit as good (if not better in a lot of instances) than some of the other stuff out there that I personally have shelled out a small fortune for e.g. SampleTank, BFD, Addictive Drums, MODO Bass, etc. etc. etc. I found myself wondering "why all of this other stuff" to be honest. And it really upsets me when you go to check out or buy a plug-in that only mentions "the usual suspects" as system requirements. Mixcraft should be right up there with the rest and best.

I guess what I'm saying to new users really is see what you can do with Mixcraft BEFORE you rush out and buy more instruments, effects, plug-ins, etc. etc. etc. You will be very surprised at what you probably do NOT need!!! Unfortunately the marketing machine is well oiled and extremely effective when it comes to plug-ins!!! LOL!!! Avoid the trap!!!

Regards,

Dale.
