How do I use .sf2 soundfonts in Mixcraft 7?

Post by nupane4sale »

I downloaded a couple soundfonts in .sf2 format that I wanted to try out, but there doesn't seem to be a way to import them directly into mixcraft, and every other tutorial or forum post I've found on this subject is severely outdated and leads to software that is no longer available. I'm assuming it's possible to do, but I have absolutely no idea how.

Here is a free SF2 player that will work as a VSTi in Mixcraft:

+1 to Jon's post - great little soundfont player.

It was posted for a different reason but here is a very short video showing how I load soundfonts into tx16wx.
