Hi All!
Well, just about gone full circle with DAW's but pleased to say I'm back with 'old faithful' - Mixcraft!
Just wanted to give a shout out to the Moderators and of course my Mixcraft friends; current to way back when... Looking forward to some catch up.

Which DAW tickled your fancy? How much had you invested in it? -h

Re: Hi All!
Worked quite a bit with Reaper - infinitely customizable, but MC suits my work flow much betterAHornsby wrote:Which DAW tickled your fancy? How much had you invested in it? -h

There was something about that group that I liked but Acoustica's instruments (strings especially) spoiled me. -htrevlyns wrote: Worked quite a bit with Reaper

It seems I wasn't the only one who was wondering what had happened to you.

Re: Hi All!
Great to hear from you Trev.
I was getting concerned! Glad to hear that you are OK despite your brush with the Reaper
I also bought a copy of reaper way back but to be honest I have just checked and I haven't updated it since V4.78 (apparently Reaper is now V5.3).
I agree that Reaper appears infinitely customizable (and I really do like that you can import multiple audio files and choose to have them loaded on to different tracks - hint, hint MX8 please) - but to be honest for getting work done Mixcraft just gets on and lets me get the job done!
Welcome Back!!
Cheers
John

If you've got version 7.7 build 316, Mixcraft automatically loads the sounds on different tracks unless you hold down the shift key when you drag and drop from File Explorer.

WOW - I did do the update a while back but I hadn't realised that this was one of the new features - I have just tried and it works exactly as you say. For me this is such a great thing.
Please thank the Developers.
This is one of the things I love about Mixcraft - the closeness that the developers have to the user group - there is a genuine response to requests.
Cheers
