I've noticed that when I move clips between tracks, the focus of the main window moves, sometimes drastically, which can interrupt workflow and get quite frustrating. The context is - I've recorded multiple takes in lanes on one track. I then wish to move the takes I've chosen to a new track, so I can place my backup takes in a submix track for unused takes, and collapse it to free up screen real-estate.
Here's some screenshots which should help describe what I'm encountering:
In the first screenshot, I have selected the bottom take from track 4, and want to move it to track 5. I press the down button, which places the track in the correct place - but the focus moves to that in screenshot 2 - over track 9, significantly far away from the currently selected track. I would expect the focus to always keep the selected clip in view.
Does anyone know if this is expected behaviour they can explain to me? Or if not, if there's a better place than here to file a bug report?
