Does anyone know how to do this???

Post by Scissorhands420 » Thu Nov 24, 2016 9:33 pm

Around 3:20 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AQXuq5-638g) there's an effect on his voice where the tone kinda fades really low. I'm wondering if anyone knows how to do this using Mixcraft 7? I know I could cut a sample into a bunch of smaller pieces and just lower the tone one by one but that wouldn't sound too fluent. If anyone has any ideas or plugins please lemme know!

It's a pitch shifter.

My favorite freeware one is part of Zynewave's Podium Free.

To get the plugin, download Podium Free, and when running the installer, customize it to only install the plugins.

You should then have Zynewave zPitch available in your list of available FX.

We'd Suggest Just Adding Another Vocal Track, Pan Right Or Left (Or Even Leave Centered) And Just Lower Volume Of Vocal On That Track, Add Reverb, Distortion Or Other Effect As Desired. No Big Need 2 Get Real Fancy. 8) :)
