I was playing around with Melodyne just now and because it doesn't support midi exporting (in the essentials version) it would be nice if we could open two "sound" windows. That way those who don't have piano skills can play a tune on the guitar and then open that window in Melodyne and open a new virtual track's midi window so we can easily manually map that guitar part in midi. Man I hope that makes sense.
If this can already be done, please let me know!
Thanks!

Makes sense to me!
I completely understand the intent, and have been referencing MIDI track data at times...... using paper and pencil. Notepad.
Yes it would be nice to be able to do as you describe. But no, we cant in Mixcraft. Yet.

Thanks Mark!
This isn't a deal breaker, but maybe another suggestion for the list!
I think the inclusion of Melodyne alludes to the need for this. So, here's hoping for something like this in the near future. Just being about to copy from Melodyne into a midi track would be even better, but I guess that would hurt the company that makes Melodyne...

Just a note: If you get the full version of Melodyne, it will show up as an integrated part of Mixcraft.

Greg,
Yeah, can't see myself being able to afford that, though the program does look awesome.
