What plugins are you using with Mixcraft? What are your favorites?

Post them here!

If you haven't tried using other plugins with Mixcraft, here's a place to start.

Oh boy, I am like a kid at toys-r-us here now :-)

Plugins are so much fun for me, I always loved the rack full of effects, eq's, etc when we play out live, the more lights, the cooler we look right?

Ok, I will start by simply posting my personal page full of plugin links.
Demon Digital Plugins Page

More from me coming soon and often.

I hope you guys/gals all post here, I am always interested in plugins for Mixcraft and Beatcraft.

Player Plugin

Post by Acoustica Eric »

In my search for a simple mp3 player that supports vst plugins, I found this for winamp.

DSP to VST Bridge

Winamp, not being my favorite player as it was for years, does work fine if you watch your installation screens and "choose" what you want and don't want.

BTW, I am a JetAudio user now :-)

UPDATE: I said I "found' this, not I "like" this.
After installing winamp and then this plugin, my laptop froze solid. Had to use the power button to kill it. So, I am not going to try it on any other pc's. It's too bad, it seemed like a good idea.

Slim Slow Slider

Post by Acoustica Eric »

The name certainly didn't scream "I make audio plugins" to me, but after using the free equalizers this author makes available, I am sold.
I recommended Nyquist eq for quite some time to people and everyone had the same complaint, there are no frequemcy markers on it, you have to adjust by ear.
This parametric has now taken the fav position on my pc.

Check them out!

Hard to say with VST's which is my favourite. But with VSTI's I'd have to say the MiniMonsta is awesome. Best Mini Moog simulator on the market and after playing with the demo is on my christmas shopping list. :D

Im trying a lot of free vst plugins however most of them i end up dumping because they are not what i really need.

Only 3 plugins Ive keep so far are

Blood overdrive...good for a boost

Tube baby...has kind of a cool tube sound with some decent warm distortion sounds.

I don't know if this has been mentioned but I use several from the tons here! One of my favorites is the Luxonix-LFX 1310. The modern series also kick! You can really get carried away with these guys!!
