Mixcraft 8, Windows 10, and touch screen

Hi there,
I was wondering if anyone could tell me how smoothly MC 8 runs with windows 10. Also, has anyone tried windows 10 touch screen functionality with MC 8? THANKS!

The only issue I can see with Win10 and Mixcraft, (or any other DAW or audio software) is that the drivers for soundcards, etc. don't really seem to be quite fully sorted out. Mostly minor, but issues exist.

IMO using a touchscreen for DAW software generally makes for an awfully busy playground. Far too many small objects.

I haven't upgraded to 8 yet, have 7 and W10. I've only had a couple of issues with W10 and only one with an old interface and their drivers. I have a touchscreen and have tried it out with MC, Mr. Bliss is right, too much going on. However if you just need to tap buttons it's fine for that, faders less so but doable, knobs, not so much.

Hi,

I had to update the audio driver for my Line6 UX2 when Windows 10 came out, but otherwise, it was all good.

Touch screen will work fine for certain things, but it's not very practical for fine control.

Seconded, I'm having no major issues with Win10 and Mixcraft 8. At least, nothing Win10 specific.
