I own (and use) the UB1002FX. It's a smaller model and I love it. I own a bigger Tascam board but favour the little UB. I think you'll be delighted with it.gypsy101 wrote:i just ordered this & a mic set for drums. who else has this board & does it work well for you? anything i should know ??

thanx. question-now i got all this stuff & trying to figger out the best way to run it into the comp. i have a gateway pc running vista(yeah yeah) w/ a sigmatel hidef codec onboard soundcard. whats the best or most correct way to send this to the comp. from the mixing board? i'm curious about stereo/mono in etc. i have a choice of line in or 2 mic. in's on the comp- i guess balanced line is the best bet? then run my onboard eq's & verbs in mixcraft. or get 1 good sound then record on 1 track in mc3 for space in the song file?

I'm assuming you're using an onboard soundcard? If so and you want to do any serious work you're going to need to add a better soundcard. Search these newsgroups for hints, there are lots of them here, for the better soundards that work well with Mixcraft.gypsy101 wrote:thanx. question-now i got all this stuff & trying to figger out the best way to run it into the comp. i have a gateway pc running vista(yeah yeah) w/ a sigmatel hidef codec onboard soundcard. whats the best or most correct way to send this to the comp. from the mixing board? i'm curious about stereo/mono in etc. i have a choice of line in or 2 mic. in's on the comp- i guess balanced line is the best bet? then run my onboard eq's & verbs in mixcraft. or get 1 good sound then record on 1 track in mc3 for space in the song file?
