Mixcraft v Melodyne plugin

I dunno if anyone here uses the Melodyne Plugin (or would admit they need to lol) 
but I've been giving it a try.... it works ok in Mixcraft except for when I save my project then go back later and open it again... the problem is that the 'blobs' for editing in the Melodyne plugin are gone... apparently this is not meant to be the case as you're supposed to be able to re-edit ..say a vocal part ...days...months...even years later. The plugin is still saved in Mixcraft's FX list but when I open it to edit it the 'blobs' are gone?
So I was just wondering is this as an incompatablity issue with Mixcraft & Melodyne Plugin or am I doing something wrong?
