Mixcraft synth goes out of pitch
Hi,
when I am using the synth plug-ins that comes with Mixcraft I have this weird issue sometimes.
I can write a synth line for a verse and then a chorus. Then I put them together. The verse part sounds all normal like it should be, and then when the chorus part kicks in it goes up like two octaves above what it should be.
Right now I have this issue where the last note from the verse part is G5 and the first note from the chorus part is also a G5, but instead of playing G5 it goes up to C7 even thou it says G5 in the piano roll.
I also had the same issue yesterday where I used the mod wheel on my AKAI MPK Mini. The rest of the notes after I used the mod wheel went up some octaves even thou I didn`t change anything in the piano roll. If the notes went out of pitch I had to click on the MIDI clip to make them play what they should be playing.
Most often this issue comes up when I use the ME80 and Glass Viper synth. It also appears when I use other plug-ins like Wobble 2. This issue is extremely annoying.

HI,
Please submit an Acoustica Support Request and attach a simple Mixcraft project that illustrates this issue.

That seems very odd. Would you be able to attach a small MX8 project file showing this happening?
Re: Mixcraft synth goes out of pitch
Hi guys!
Dan, I tried to attach the project below but even thou the file is 1,23Mb it`s apparently too big. And that`s only a short part of the MIDI thing.
Should I use something like Google Drive, One Drive or Dropbox? And I do have Mixcraft 7 if that does matter.
How do we do this then?
It`s kinda weird because that part during the chorus is a simple copy and paste thing and then I forged them together if that is the way to describe it. The two middle parts in the chorus are not consistent. The first goes up in pitch, like I see it in the piano roll and the second, exactly same copied part, which has the same mod wheel value, goes kinda of up and down.
Mark, I had this issue even before I got my AKAI MPK sadly. Sometimes, some MIDI things I write even has some notes that drop out in the beginning of the MIDI clip. Just weird. :/

HI,
Does it happen if you try it in a new project, or just in that project?

Hi,
Send in a support ticket and attach a project that has the problem. (See my posts above).
Greg
Edited to say: I've also added .mx8 and .mx8template as allowed attachment types.

Re: Mixcraft synth goes out of pitch
Hi again.
I have now submitted a ticket and I also did attach a 7-zip file with the Mixcraft 7 project, only containing the little MIDI part where the issue is apparent.
Have a nice weekend everybody!

Hi,
Thank you for sending us the example project file. You've got pitch wheel CC messages that go up, but don't come down:

My Roland RS 5 pitch wheel got stuck once... drove me crazy before I found it.. I actually did a factory reset on the Roland and it returned to normal..
