mixcraft 8 compadablity to mixcraft 7
So I was to open my Mixcraft 7 file from school on to my home computer that has Mixcraft 8. Will I be able to open up this file edited in Mixcraft 8 in Mixcraft 7??????

No, mixcraft files are not forwards compatible.

If you need to use your Mixcraft 7 project on both machines, you need to make sure you have Mixcraft 7 on both machines. You can always contact support to see if you can obtain a compatible Mixcraft version for your home computer.

It'll be in demo form but he can always open up the projects in his licensed 8 copy to export any files past the expiration.
