Re: Using melodyne
I just tried it and had no problem. How are you trying to load the sound? All I did was load the sound onto a track and then went to the sound tab and brought up melodyne and it was there.
Re: Using melodyne
hello the sound loads but the melodyne does not accept it. when i rt click on the loop
and click edit in external editor then melodyne does not load it

Re: Using melodyne
I think there's some confusion as to the method you are using Kiran.
There seems to be three ways to use Melodyne here, and by your description its not clear to me what you are doing.
In Mixcraft ProStudio I can open the sound tab, and select Melodyne mode, and the selected audio track is automatically loaded. Longer tracks may take a few moments to load.
I never used Melodyne as a plug in in Mixcraft, so I experimented with that just now.
I inserted the Melodyne plug in on the desired track. Selected "transfer" and nothing happened. You have to play the track. Then it transfers into Melodyne.
I have also never set up Melodyne as my external audio editor. I don't see any reason to use that option at this point, as method one simply works for me.

Re: Using melodyne
Hello In the sound tab there is no option for Melodyne mode. There is only an option to edit in the external editor.
I have melodyne in my studio one DAW where just rt clicking the audio track and selecting melodyne opens the audio file in melodyne. I could use it by transfer method now but it should be simpler than that
Regards

Re: Using melodyne
When you right click and use Melodyne as an external editor it starts it in standalone mode. To use it like that you have to transfer the loop like Mark explained by playing the file. Melodyne is integrated into Mixcraft now and you do not have to do this. After you load the loop onto the track, go to the mixer and there is a sound tab to the left of the mixer tab, after that page opens up there is a button for Melodyne. It should be right next to the editor button. Then the loop will open into Melodyne. If you have the manual for mixcraft 8 check out page 89.kiran wrote:hello the sound loads but the melodyne does not accept it. when i rt click on the loop
