Hi,
I've made two short desktop videos showing a running project.
-- In the first video, found here
http://somup.com/cbXv2JVTgb
the yellow time cursor in the track view always scrolls correctly. So does the one in the piano roll view.
But when viewing audio in the Sound tab -- whether in waveform view (without having melodyne activated), or in melodyne view (when melodyne is activated of course) -- the yellow cursor doesn't move when the project plays. It will catch up to where it should be when you press stop though.
-- In the second clip it's not working in the piano roll view either. Unchanged project, a little while later.

Can anyone reproduce this?

Yup. I get the same as the second video. Not often, and haven't been able to nail it down enough to file a ticket. It seems to happen when changing focus from tracks view to MIDI editor and back several times. It also seems to straighten itself out after awhile.

Thanks ChiBear.
I've noticed that it comes, goes, comes back again.
It's sort of liveable-with if I keep the track view's time cursor visible when editing in the piano roll or in the audio view of the Sounds tab.
I do worry though what will happen if I am using my multitrack Medolyne Studio 4, which I've not set up yet, but which I understand dominates the screen.
I really do need to see the time cursor sometimes e.g when playing back / editing.
Is this a known issue?
What happens next? Do I need to formally report this, beyond having made this post?

Hi, have you the full version of melodyne studio ?
You should know that the multitrack function isn't available in mixcraft.

Thanks Tana, you'd told me that and I'd forgotten.Tana Edwards wrote:Hi, have you the full version of melodyne studio ?
