Strange crash

Post by joanmale »

I had a track with an vst instrument that at some point turned into a external midi track. There was 2 fx that remained in that track with no effect over the sound. Tb parametric equalizer and classic delay.
When i delete the track, mixcraft 8 crashes, if i delete the fx, is ok, then i delete the track after fx removal, crashes again, so it doesn't let me delete that track, possession?
Win7 64 bits
Btw , is there any way to recover the work?

Only in this project, adding or removing tracks makes mixcraft crash. Colud be a plugin used only in this track even if it was deleted?

Hi,

Get it to happen again, then quit Mixcraft, submit a support request and attach your mixcraft-log.txt file.

To find the mixcraft-log file, highlight the following line and press Ctrl+C to copy it:

Code: Select all

%appdata%\Acoustica\Mixcraft\
Press the Windows Key+R to pop up the Run box in Windows. Click in the Run box and press Ctrl+V to paste in the line from above. Finally, click OK to go to the location of the mixcraft-log.txt file. Submit an Acoustica Support Request and attach the log file along with a brief description of the problem.
