Mixdown use selection grayed out

Hello I am using Mixcraft 8 Pro, and when I try to mixdown a song (doesn't work regardless of type of file mixdown), the 'Use Selection' checkbox is grayed out. I had this problem a few months ago, but restarting my computer fixed it. That didn't fix it this time sadly, so I am not sure what to do.

Hi,

You're mixing down to audio, not video? Is everything else working when this happens, like playback, for example? Can you go into preferences?

Yes everything else works as it should. That is the only problem I have. The software isn't recognizing that I have a selection made.

Hi,

Try it again, and if it's still happening, quit Mixcraft and send us your mixcraft-log.txt file.

To find the mixcraft-log file, highlight the following line and press Ctrl+C to copy it:

Press the Windows Key+R to pop up the Run box in Windows. Click in the Run box and press Ctrl+V to paste in the line from above. Finally, click OK to go to the location of the mixcraft-log.txt file. Submit an Acoustica Support Request and attach the log file along with a brief description of the problem.
