Hello all:
I will try to explain my current dilemma. I have an Akai MPK 249 MIDI keyboard that I have used for some time with Mixcraft Pro 8, with no problems. Recently I purchased and installed a Roland Quad Capture which I want
to run a microphone through (and only the microphone, I am not running the keyboard through the Quad Capture).
However, after installing the Quad Capture I am getting no sound in Mixcraft while playing an instrument such as Piannisimo on my Akai keyboard. I am also getting no sound if I bypass Mixcraft and play a Kontakt instrument through stand-alone Kontakt 5, so I am aware that it is not a Mixcraft issue.
But I am hoping that someone more knowledgeable than me (which is pretty much everyone!) will recognize right off what I have done wrong. I am sure that it is something I have setup incorrectly somewhere.
Thanks for any help.
Jerry

Re: No Sound from MIDI keyboard with Quad Capture
Check windows audio playback and record devices. Set the audio interface as default. Your sound should then come out of the audio interface outputs.

Just an update, that did the trick. Thanks, Eric.
