How can I turn down the clip Gain of ALL my clips across all (or a selection of) my tracks? Possible?
Not wanting a huge conversation on gain staging

Re: Clip Gain
To the best of my knowledge, there is not a way to do that. Though I would love to be proven wrong.
This would be a very welcome and useful feature IMO.
But selecting multiple clips, nor linking allows this. As it stands, I think the only solution is to merge the clips.
I would suggest not only adding that function, but adding a "adjust all selected clips to" or "adjust all selected clips by" function as well.
Very good suggestion Nicky.

Re: Clip Gain
What happens if you highlight your clips and then do the adjust volume selection. It's not precise but might help.

Yep, Tom is right. Left click and lasso the clips (or select them individually). Then right click any one and select Envelopes>boost or reduce.

Re: Clip Gain
Yeah, I must have been still half asleep. I knew you could use the envelopes for adjusting groups and failed to remember/point that option out-
BUT....
First of all theres the lack of a defined "edit to exact value" or similar, it limits us to the adjust by 5,10, 25, 50%
What does that mean when I want to (for example) turn down the clip gain 5dB?
I would like to be able to select for example 2, or all clips in a track and while selected, drag the clip gain up or down and have it effect all clips, AND the option of being able to adjust the selected clips gain precisely by for example a "right click/edit to exact value" option that effected all selected clips.
I have used several workaround options, but most of the extra effort would be obsolete with the above option.

But to be fair, things like that we very much NOT a "nice to have", gain staging of clips into VSTs seems a normal thing, esp now that we've got that little meter in the top right of a VST window
