Hi Guys,
Yet another question here for you all. Is it possible to assign a save location for user created virtual instrument sounds within Mixcraft?
Currently, I have MX installed on my laptop which runs great when I am out and about at a gig/session however when i'm back home at the studio i'd like to use these presets I have created then on my main rig as well without having to go deep in the C:\ drive to find them.
Also this may just be me thinking this but will there become a time when Acoustica create a piece of hardware fully & completely intergrated with Mixcraft (Such as the Faderport), or a keyboard cover for the shortcut keys as in the likes of ProTools?
Regards
-J

Re: A couple of questions
Hi,
We're not planning to get into the hardware business at this time.
Do you mean virtual instrument presets? They are stored here:
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Acoustica\Mixcraft\InstPresets\
Where "USERNAME" is your own Windows login. Or, you can use the appdata environment variable, like we do for finding log files;
%appdata%\Acoustica\Mixcraft\InstPrests\
Just copy the contents of that folder to the corresponding folder on the new computer.

Hi Greg,
Perfect, just the location string I was after! It will save so much time now.
Thanks once again
