I just upgraded from MC6 to MC8.1 Pro a few days ago... WOW, MC8.1 Pro is awesome, I love it.

If ever there's a mixcraft 9, can you add the following?

* automatic identification of BPM on an audio track
* Foldered Tracks
*Example: Main Folder :Backup Vocals
Sub Folders: Soprano 1, Alto 1, Tenor 1
* Quantizing an audio track
*Choral Effect Plug-in

Hi,

We've started working on Mixcraft 9, but it won't be available for months and months.

That said, Mixcraft 8 already has most of those features, I think.

Mixcraft will automatically use any tempo information stored in acidized wav files. If there is no tempo data, it will attempt to detect the BPM. If the audio clip is too short or doesn't have a clear beat, it won't be able to do that.

How would a foldered track be different than a submix? Check out this video on submixes: Mixcraft Mixer: Submixes.

Mixcraft has some Chorus effects, but you are maybe thinking of harmonizing plugins?

Hello will mixcraft 9 be able to connect as slave in external devices? controlling and sync tempo bpm throw midi.
Its a basic thing and very needed.

I hope it will midi (slave) sync. Been trying forever to get my arp on my MPK to sync with MC8 via an external source and I think today is the day I give up and move on to another daw. Sucks because MC is really great, I've been using this forever but my needs have changed and the feature just isn't here.

Yes. But I'm thinking "I am absolutely missing something, WHAT is it?"

I spent all evening just diving into it. And...

I had no idea the Transport has to be running for midi to sync back to the keyboard arpeggiator.

I'm such a doof.


That's cool, 'cause I downloaded like 3 demos of different DAW's tonight and threw up in my mouth 3 different times. I need my Mixcraft.
