Time Signature changes

Hi All,

I opened a midi file from a song I built in Sibelius Ultimate that is in 4/4. It begins in 4/4 and then 6 bars later changes to 9/8.

Any thoughts on why Mixcraft 8 would do this?

Hi,

Are you sure the time signature change isn't in the original Sibelius project?

Yes. It's only 24 bars long and it is all in 4/4. There are tempo changes, but not at where Mixcraft has changed the time signature.

Hi,

That's weird. Well, you can just delete that track marker, or edit it and turn off the time signature change.
