VST 64 Bit Program

Does Mixcraft8 support a VST program that is 64 Bit?

Hi Belladonna,
Yes it does, I use 64 bit vsts on some of my tracks, just have to make sure you have the 64bit of Mixcraft installed

I have the Mixcraft 8 which I installed. I believe it might have asked me about whether I wanted 32 or 64 and at the time I said 32. So, do I have to reinstall?

Yes, just re-run the installer.
And fyi, you can have both versions installed if you wish.

I can concur: I have 64-bit plugins and I installed MC8 64-bit, and they all work no problem.

Morning,
The most common issue I find is that plugin presets don’t tend to transfer into the Mixcraft preset lists such as the drop down menus, etc...
Other than that the only problems I’ve ever had are with the Scheps OmniChannel by Waves that locks up randomly, and the Rompler Orchestra which works great until you close the project and try opening it again.
