I loaded it into Sound Forge and could see the artifacts and the frequency and cleaned up a few but then just filtered it at about 3231 Hz and it is pretty much gone didnt break out my studio headphones though just did it quick

But can you hear it if you play some D4 notes with those presets without adding effects?

i just downloaded the mp3 and looked at it in sound forge I didn't test in mixcraft. I'll try it now
edit: hmm, I just tried cavernous strings in mixcraft and it sounds fine to me o.O no high pitched squealing like in that mp3 somebody posted...weird
tried at default and without the effects and seems ok to me
