Everything I did last night worked great..
I am able to record with no problem...

Yeah, I thought about that after I posted last. What would "standard" mean afterall? I don't use ASIO4all. I could never get it to work without HUGE latency delays. I know it works for others just fine..To each his/her own...Acoustica Greg wrote:Hi Brian,

When I go into MC4/file/preferences/sound device,
I can either choose "ASIO Multimedia driver" OR "M-Audio USB ASIO"
Choosing the M-Audio driver, and doing everything else I stated in my post before the last one, fixed the problem I was having....
OH!! I forgot...I also turned off my firewall during recording, as well as my Anti virus/spyware/adware/etcware . Just doing that before, didn't solve the problem, but it sure did free up some system resources. Just for information that apparently everyone but me already knew
