Melodyne help needed

Post by Bobby L »

Melodyne is downloaded but may be not responding? I select track, click sound tab, in tool bar for that selection I see editor and Melodyne as a red button. I click red Melodyne button and cursor momentarily spins then stops. That all that happens, Melodyne is not opening. I appreciate any help! Thanks in advance

Hi,

Try it one more time, then quit Mixcraft and send us your mixcraft-log.txt file.

To find the mixcraft-log file, highlight the following line and press Ctrl+C to copy it:

Code: Select all

%appdata%\Acoustica\Mixcraft\
Press the Windows Key+R to pop up the Run box in Windows. Click in the Run box and press Ctrl+V to paste in the line from above. Finally, click OK to go to the location of the mixcraft-log.txt file. Submit an Acoustica Support Request and attach the log file along with a brief description of the problem.

This might be a long shot but are there multiple clips on the track you have selected? I get the same sort of scenario if I try to do that.

Just thought I'd add my $0.02.

I tried the reinstall twice before posting. I am at a loss. I sent files as Greg suggested.

Ok back to Melodyne again. I was busy and failed to find time to work with Melodyne previously.

Here's my question now. If I download Mixcraft Pro 8 again which I currently have and use, would it be possible that Melodyne could install this time? I ask only because on my initial purchase and install there were several vst's that didn't download. Upon Greg's advice I reinstalled and there they were.

Last question when I reinstall what possible issues could there be with current recorded materiel and tracks? I store everything on an external hard drive which I plan to eject during this process.

As always thank you in advance for you advice!

The first part is worth a try, if only because its simple and doesn't take much time.

Second-recorded audio etc isn't part of the program, so no effect.
Stay in tune, Mark
