Lost toontrack authorazations!

Hello,
So I'm practicing my guitar..come up with this great riff. Open MC to get it down before I forget it.

Get This! Not happening on Reaper.

It looks like all you need to do is paste or type in your authorization code and click on authorize. Then enter all the other requested information (password, etc) and click on authorize.

I wish. I have six toontrack probucts..then there are the add-ons.
When I go to " authroazation manager" I only see serials not authorazation numbers
My question is why should I be having to spend half my day re- doing all this. What could possibly have prompted this? I've been using these products for many years!

No. Reason..it is only occuring in MC. Reaper has not lost my toontrack authorizations. So I was assuming it is directly related to MC.
Not so ? Not sure about any of this. Always a question of who/where when so many places are involved!

Hi,

Yeah, this is not a Mixcraft issue. Check the VST path in Reaper. Are you loading the very same EZDrummer VST file in Reaper that you're loading in Mixcraft? Check the VST path in Reaper and compare it to the one you've got set in Mixcraft. Are they both 64-bit? Both loading from the same VST folder? Etc.

One thing you could try with Mixcraft: start Mixcraft by right-clicking on Mixcraft's icon and selecting Run As Administrator.

Just got back from: Mixcraft> File>Preferences>Plug-ins>Edit VST/VSTi Folders. No path to the Toontrack folders!

Ok by now..I forgot that great guitar Riff! Any who, I did not delete any search paths in Mixcraft. Any ideas?

Hi,

My 64-bit EZDrummer VST file lives here:

C:\Program Files\VST\Toontrack

Not sure if that's the default location.

Yea Greg, Mine lives is the same place. Not sure how MC lost it's address after eight plus years!

Does adding that address to the list change anything? Be sure to restart Mixcraft first.

Bummer. Too bad you didn’t just record the guitar riff before you forgot it, and afterwards deal with the toontrack problem.

Check this picture. Are the 4 things Download, install, authorise, update all ticked ? If not, try re-installing by going to the Toontrack website and signing into it. It should list what things you have registered and enable you to re-install them.

Just meant lost the path.

Jlouver, Hey..needed the drums/drummer man!

Everything was, and is, copastedic there.
Somehow the path to my Toontrack folder was erased! I dunno how it happens. Pretty sure nothing I did. The mystery of life I guess.

Double bummer... as a bassist it’s not uncommon for me to lay down bass groove ideas with just the metronome... Anyway, I hope you got everything working again?
