1. Split tool in piano roll for splitting notes.
2. More options for auto-crossfades (now there is no options).
3. More keyboard shortcuts.

Well, that's not entirely true, you do have three fade-in and three fade-out tools when you right-click on a clip and go under Envelopes>Fade In or Envelopes>Fade Out:
Notice the individual clip names are their keyboard shortcut (number row, not numpad)

And yes, you can apply a fade to only a section of a clip - just highlight part of the clip, and apply the fade as usual.

And re: keyboard shortcuts, please no  Those are the bane of my existence in Pro Tools, only because Pro Tools practically requires you to use them in order to get anything done :P

As always, a separate volume control for the loop audition panel. Like Acid had since the late 90s. And logic. This has been my only request for last 2 versions.

Hi,

Mixcraft 9.0 will have this feature in the form of a Preview volume control in the mixer. It also controls the volume of the track freezing sound and similar sounds.

Support for advanced integration with komplete kontrol keyboard.

1. A futuristic & modern looking GUI.

2. More advanced editing features for midi.

3. Improved stability, smoothness & all the bugs in Mixcraft 8 to be fixed.

Hello and welcome to the Mixcraft forum.
Mixcraft 8 with Windows 10 is stable and runs smoothly for me. Maybe you need to optimize your PC for Mixcraft... Checkout this thread: http://forums.acoustica.com/bbs/viewtop ... =4&t=14668

What sort of advanced features. Mixcraft 9 does have some new advanced features.

Is there a Mixcraft 8 bug that you're concerned about?

Hello!

In the same MIDI track, I would like to select some notes or measures (MIDI) and be able to mute them so that group of notes will not sound when playing, and the rest of the track will sound.
If this function exists, I apologize, I am new.

At the moment I have no more requests, I still don't know the program well. :) Regards.

There are a couple ways or more too do that... You could slice then move and mute or delete, or use automation and turn their volume off.

Thank you, although I was referring to silencing the notes without having to cut or move them from the track. If I turn off the volume, when I recover those notes, I think maybe I won't know what volume of each note they had before.
At the moment I have solved it by splitting on the track, and then I can mute each clip independently of the other clip.
But in any case, if it could mute just by click into the selection, and unmute them with another click, much better for me, if it can't be, everything ok, I will continue to split on the track. :)

I don't have a need for muting notes, but I'm guessing it's because you're pasting audio clips/loops appose to recording musical instruments... Anyway, I'm pretty sure when Mixcraft 9 becomes available it will do what you want.

Have a fantastic weekend,
Joe

Hi Joe, my main need for muting notes is the following:

For example: Having a previously recorded MIDI rhythm base, I'm going to record a MIDI instrument (e.g. a piano). To do this, I record several different tracks with this piano, e.g. 3 tracks. Obviously when I record the 2nd track I mutate the previous one, and when I record the 3rd mute the previous 2, etc.

Listening to each of the recorded tracks, I choose what sounds best of each track and mutate the rest, so that playing all 3 tracks at the same time, they sound like it's just one track.

But the rest I do not erase, because there are things that maybe I could take advantage of, and sometimes I mutate part of one track and unmute another, to compare, and I change and try different combinations, until finally obtaining the final track.

That is why the function mutate notes to me would do very well.

Thank you for your words and I wish you a happy week :)

1. Curved automation (Which you already confirmed)
2. More keyboard shortcuts
3. An improved GUI, Mixcraft feels outdated in that category compared to others DAWs

Here are a few things that I would really enjoy in Mixcraft.
1. A desiganted pitch and mod wheel lane in the automation section.
2. An updated omni and Alpha Sampler
3. Midi capture (like ableton)
4. More track colors
5. More options for the interface look

I'd give my broken guitar and 50p for a shortcut to change track heights between small, normal and large. :D
